Leading vocalists, celebrated instrumentalists, splendid orchestral arrangements, daring aerial acrobatics, and fabulous movie music constitute the 2018–2019 Kettering Health Network SuperPops Series.

The season opens with a visit to The Great White Way and the hits of Lerner and Loewe on My Fair Broadway. Then it’s time to celebrate the holidays with good family and friends as they make their way to the Gem City for a Hometown Holiday celebration.

In January, the grace and thrills of the world’s greatest cirque performers are blended with stunning symphonic music for Cirque Musica: Crescendo. In February, Eileen Ivers joins the DPO for Celtic Spirit, with a performance so boldly imaginative and clearly virtuosic that it promises to change the way Dayton audiences think about the violin.

With a stunning compilation of movie blockbusters to this composer’s name, the Dayton Philharmonic just cannot get enough of the thrills and chills of John Williams' incomparable musical scores. In March, the DPO presents round two with Best of John Williams II. The SuperPops season comes to a close in May with a tribute to the one and only Louis Armstrong. Byron Stripling's electrifying and heartfelt performance, with his signature version of "When the Saints Go Marchin' In" to close the show, “always leaves ’em dancing in the aisles!”

The SuperPops Season is available as a six-performance series.
