Bach's Lunch with the Carillon Brass

Free Performances!

On Friday, December 13 at 10:00 am & Noon, the Carillon Brass will present two free holiday concerts. All are invited, and no tickets are required; doors open at 9:00 for the first concert.

Location Loft Theatre

The program features an eclectic repertoire that includes jazz standards, brass-specific compositions, transcribed concert music, and traditional holiday favorites. The Carillon Brass comprises five top musicians from the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra: Charles Pagnard, Principal Trumpet; Alan Siebert, Second Trumpet; Aaron Brant, Principal Horn; Tim Anderson, Principal Trombone; and Tim Northcut, Principal Tuba.

This pair of performances, called Bach's Lunch, started as part of an adult concert series created for downtown dwellers and employees. The audience has grown and continues to draw people of all ages within the city limits and from the outlying suburbs.

Our donors Boston Stoker and The Whitney Fund will provide complimentary coffee and doughnuts at the 10:00 am concert. Boston’s Bistro & Pub will make box lunches available for purchase at the noon performance.
