DPO Presents Two Free "Bach's Lunch" Holiday Concerts with the Carillon Brass

DAYTON OH (November 21, 2013) - On Friday, December 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. and Noon at the Loft Theatre, 126 N. Main St., Third Floor, the Carillon Brass will present Bach's Lunch, a series of two free holiday concerts. All five members of the Carillon Brass are members of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. This popular holiday tradition is sponsored by the Richard A. and Mary T. Whitney Fund.

The program will feature traditional holiday favorites as well as other music for brass instruments, presented in a light-hearted, audience-friendly format. Members of the Carillon Brass are Charles Pagnard, DPO Principal Trumpet; Alan Siebert, DPO Second Trumpet; Aaron Brant, DPO Principal French Horn;  Tim Anderson, DPO Principal Trombone; and Tim Northcut, DPO Principal Tuba.

Come early to assure a good seat and bring your lunch. Boston Stoker will provide complimentary coffee and doughnuts when the doors open at 9 a.m. Boston’s Bistro & Pub will have turkey and cheddar croissant “Bach’s lunches” available for purchase for $7 beginning at 11 a.m. for the Noon performance.

The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance was formed in July 2012 as the result of a groundbreaking and innovative merger between the Dayton Ballet, the Dayton Opera, and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra.
