DAYTON, OH (June 5, 2015) – On Friday, June 26, 2015, from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm at The Connor Group Headquarters, 10510 N. Springboro Pike near Austin Landing in Miamisburg, OH, the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance is proud to present Party Arty: Bringing Performing Arts to Life, a phenomenal evening of live music, savory treats, festive drinks, wildly varied entertainment, and lots of special surprises. Party Arty is a fundraising event of the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance (DPAA). The purpose of Party Arty is to raise funds to support the operating costs of all of the DPAA Education programs for students in grades K–12, while engaging the region’s enthusiasm for the arts and enhancing connections with future audience members.

The Connor Group will come alive on June 26, featuring live music from Linda Prevo Band and Hey There Morgan, heavy hors d'oeuvres, complimentary beer and wine, a "Partini" bar, and specialty performances by professionals from the Dayton Ballet, Opera, and Philharmonic, as well as promising young performers from DPAA Education Programs.  In addition, there will be a Silent Auction of items donated by local artists, restaurants, businesses and friends of the performing arts. Items include tickets to the Dayton Dragons; a getaway to Vail, CO; tickets to Wiley’s Comedy Club; new bikes; dinner packages at local restaurants; art from local artists; and much more! The Emcee for the entire evening of festivities will be Cory Miller, an avid supporter of the arts scene in the Dayton region.

About the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance
The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance was formed in July 2012 as the result of a groundbreaking and innovative merger between the Dayton Ballet, the Dayton Opera, and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. Together, they are the largest performing arts organization in the community, offering a tremendous variety of performance and education programs and setting a new standard for artistic excellence.  Dayton Performing Arts Alliance performances are made possible in part by Montgomery County and Culture Works, the single largest source of community funds for the arts and culture in the Miami Valley. The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance also receives partial funding from the Ohio Arts Council, a state agency created to foster and encourage the development of the arts and to preserve Ohio's cultural heritage. Funding from the Ohio Arts Council is an investment of state tax dollars that promotes economic growth, educational excellence, and cultural enrichment for all Ohio residents.  The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance is proud to be one of five performing arts organizations in the country selected to receive a three-year "Music Alive" grant from New Music USA and the League of American Orchestras.
