Perhaps Perry Como captured the true spirit of Christmas when he first recorded "There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays" in 1954. Among references to the sunshine of a friendly gaze, pumpkin pie, folks traveling from Tennessee to Pennsylvania and vice versa—the most memorable words are "If you want to be happy in a million ways, for the holidays you can’t beat home, sweet home."

This December, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and choirs and choruses from around the region will gather together for an uplifting holiday tribute. Come celebrate a Hometown Holiday with Dayton’s one and only Philharmonic and the guest choirs and choruses as they perform some of the memorable and sacred music of the Christmas season. There’s a good chance that the evening’s joy and song will stay with you throughout the holidays.

Perry Como had it right: For the holidays you can’t beat home, sweet home.
