DPO’s SuperPops season swings into gear with the return of Steve Lippia to Dayton. A highly sought-after entertainer famous for his renditions of the music of Frank Sinatra, Steve Lippia now pays homage to other crooners from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s.

Lippia has become one of the most prominent, in-demand vocalists and has quickly established his place among the finest interpreters of standards and traditional pop music in the nation. His youthful, energetic talent and powerful show creates a perfect blend of “classic” with “today”. His show introduces a new generation to this timeless music while appealing to long-time listeners.

For these two nights in October, Steve Lippia, together with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, will delight the Schuster Center audience with the music of not only Sinatra, but Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., and other favorite crooners who have topped the charts, transporting audiences to a favorite time and a familiar place with smash hits like:
