2022–2023 Masterworks Series

The excitement of attending live orchestra concerts can be yours all season long at the Dayton Philharmonic’s 2022–2023 Masterworks Series.

This season, the Dayton Philharmonic performs favorite symphonic masterpieces that will delight music fans all year long. From Respighi’s expansive Pines of Rome, Rimsky-Korsakov’s captivating musical telling of Scheherazade inspired by The Arabian Nights, Berlioz’s opium fueled and fantastical Symphony fantastique, to works by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and more! 

The Philharmonic also welcomes internationally acclaimed musicians ranging from GRAMMY-nominated artists to renowned Hindustani singer.

Based on Nordic and Germanic myths, Das Rheingold (The Gold from the Rhine) is the “preliminary evening” to Wagner’s epic masterwork, The Ring Cycle.

Opera Series Subscribers have their regular performance night included in their subscription.

Masterworks 8 Series Subscribers can have either the Friday or Sunday performance included in their subscription package. Please note that there is not a Saturday performance of Das Rheingold.
