Dayton, Ohio (February 19, 2010) – Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra members and Music Director Neal Gittleman travel to Tabernacle Baptist Church on Sunday, February 28 at 4 pm for a free concert with the Tabernacle Baptist Church Choir under the direction of Mrs. Euna Thompson.
Neal Gittleman will conduct the program, which includes three movements from Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, the Violin Concerto Op. 5, No. 2 by Chevalier de St. Georges, featuring DPO Concertmaster Jessica Hung, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Novelette, Op. 52, a special arrangement of Roland Hayes’s Deep River by Neal Gittleman, and Richard Smallwood’s Total Praise, performed together with the Tabernacle Baptist Church Choir.
A reception will follow.

The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra (DPO) 2009-2010 Stained Glass Series is a series of free community concerts, with the support of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, and Omega Baptist Church. No tickets are required. Generous seating is available.
Stained Glass attendees can purchase tickets at each of the concerts to hear a specific Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra concert at the Schuster Center for only $6.00 each. Each ticket is an RTA bus ticket for that evening. Tickets are on sale at each Stained Glass Concert, or in the individual church offices.
