Dayton, Ohio (March 9, 2009) – The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Principal Quartet to Trinity Presbyterian Church on Sunday, March 22 at 2 pm for a free DPO concert, the first in the newly announced Halo Series of free concerts, hosted by Trinity Presbyterian Church in partnership with New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. The program for the concert consists of Franz Josef Haydn’s Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 76, No. 4, Sunrise and Felix Mendelssohn’s Quartet No. 2 in A Minor, Op. 13. A reception will follow the performance.
The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Principal Quartet consists of Concertmaster/ Principal Violinist Jessica Hung, Principal Second Violinist Kirstin Greenlaw, Principal Violist Sheridan Kamberger Currie, and Principal Cellist Andra Lunde Padrichelli. The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Principal Quartet 2008-2009 Halo Series is a series of free community concerts, with the support of area churches. All Halo Series Concerts are FREE. No tickets required. Generous seating is available.
Halo Series attendees can purchase tickets at each of the Halo Series concerts to hear a Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Concert at the Schuster Center. The DPO has reserved a block of seats in the Orchestra section of the Mead Theatre (concert hall) for four Classical Series concerts in its regular season. Each ticket is also an RTA bus ticket for that night! Tickets are on sale at each Halo Series concert, or in the individual church offices.
