Dec. 31, 8-10 pm concert at the Schuster Center will be followed by post-concert gala at Dayton Racquet Club
This year, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra returns to its past tradition of concert-only ticketing (no party included in the ticket price). Maestro Neal Gittleman will host the evening’s festivities.
Seat prices range from $11 to $61, which will provide the community with a better opportunity to enjoy this favorite Dayton event. Of course, there will be the traditional Viennese musical bon-bons. Added will be a range of selections that will create a kaleidoscope of orchestral color, providing an evening of melody, surprise, and vivid musical experience.
The DPO’s gifted Associate Concertmaster, Aurelian Oprea, will take the lead on Massenet’s gorgeous Meditation.
The evening will find DPO principal trombonist, Tim Anderson, in a rather lyrical mood, when he takes the lead on three lovely opera arias!
For those who wish to stay and party ‘til the New Year, the Dayton Racquet Club is hosting a post-concert gala.
