On Friday, March 28 at 12:00 noon at the Cannery Art & Design Centre, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Woodwind Quintet will present the third Bach’s Lunch free holiday concert of the 2007-2008 season. All five members of the DPO Woodwind Quintet are members of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra (DPO).
The program features eclectic repertoire, including a variety of favorite woodwind works.
The Dayton Philharmonic Woodwind Quintet consists of Rebecca Andres, DPO Principal Flutist; John Kurokawa, DPO Principal Clarinetist; Amy Lassiter, DPO Hornist; Amy Marinello, DPO Bassoonist; and Eileen Whalen, DPO Principal Oboist.
Bach’s Lunch started life originally as an adult educational concert for downtown dwellers and employees. The audience continues to draw people within the city limits and from the outlying suburbs.
Artists who exhibit at the Cannery Art & Design Centre will provide light hors d’oeuvres. Beverages will be supplied courtesy of the DPO.
