Dayton, Ohio (October 27, 2009) – On Saturday, November 14 at 6 pm in the Mathile Theatre of the Schuster Center, the Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association will hold ABBA Salute to the ‘70s, a fundraiser party featuring food, beverages, two raffles, a ‘70s Super Trouper costume contest, a ‘70s Dancing Queen dance contest, and ‘70s videos. Guests will relive the disco decade with good food and drink, some blazin’ music, outrageous dance grooves, and fun times with good friends in this fundraiser party that runs from 6 pm and goes right to the start of the ARRIVAL concert at 8 pm. Partygoers get to mix and mingle with Swedish musicians ARRIVAL before the concert.
Just $55 covers admission, music, a kickin’ dance floor, hors’d’oeuvres, and a starter cocktail. The DPVA will feature a signature cocktail mixed up with (what else?) ABBA-solut. Not to mention some additional creative ways to support the DPO. So break out your leisure suit, halter top, fake fur, hot pants, or what-have-you and order your concert tickets and party tickets now!
Have a blast while you support the DPO and its Education Programs! Remember, $35 of the ticket price is tax-deductible. Proceeds go toward the DPVA Scholarship Fund.
Cost: $55 per person (concert tickets must be purchased separately). Only 150 tickets are available.
