Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Music Director to talk on Mozart Festival
This marks the second year that Boston Stoker has hosted the free Classical Coffee Klatsch, during which – in a casual setting – Neal Gittleman will talk in depth about the music featured in the NCR Miracle of Mozart Festival, field questions from attendees, and hold a free raffle for a Mozart Festival Piano Concerto Series Subscription. There will also be free Mozart Birthday Cake donated by The Cakery on Woodman Drive.
The Downtown Boston Stoker is located at 34 West Second Street across from the Schuster Center.
To celebrate the mind and spirit of the greatest musician of all time, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra has assembled a remarkable lineup of concerts and events that show off Mozart’s nearly unbelievable musical talents, the NCR Miracle of Mozart Festival. This far-reaching music festival includes both free and paid events performed in a variety of settings and by a wide variety of musical groups.
In addition to the sheer amount of music that Mozart created in his brief lifetime, he also achieved mastery over virtually every genre. From the largest symphonies and operas to the most intimate solo compositions, Mozart turned his miraculous talents to every musical form!
With that in mind, the NCR Miracle of Mozart Festival presents a wide array of performances, including symphonies, opera works, sacred works, piano concertos, string quartets, various ensemble groups, and solo recitals.
