DPAA Summer Streams

A CELEBRATION FROM CARILLON HISTORICAL PARK

The DPAA proudly presents A Celebration from Carillon Historical Park, a unique DPAA Signature event showcasing the power and collaboration of all three art forms of the DPAA: Dayton Opera, Dayton Ballet, and the Dayton Philharmonic. This event will feature DPAA ensemble and solo performances by musicians from the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. Dayton Opera singer Maya Vansuch will perform two works accompanied by DPO string quintets. The DPAA will also present a virtual replay of an excerpt from Dayton Ballet’s recent production of The Great Gatsby. The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance is thrilled to be performing this virtual concert on location at the beautiful Carillon Historical Park.

Dive into the refreshing waters of classical music, song and dance with our FREE virtual summer concert series, with NINE virtual concerts for you to enjoy! For our Recital Series and Family Series, small DPAA ensembles have taken the stage in the PNC Arts Annex and recorded concerts live and in person together, socially distanced, of course, for the first time since March! We are so excited to be able to share these recorded performances with you! We have also prepared a DPAA Replay Series for a virtual multimedia replay of three previous breathtaking DPAA performances, with brand new photo and video presentations to accompany the exquisite recorded music.
