“Let’s Spend the Night Together” as the Dayton Philharmonic and Guest Band Windborne Deliver a Rockin’ Concert Overflowing with the Music of The Rolling Stones

DAYTON, OH (February 20, 2022) – On Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 8:00 pm in the Mead Theatre of the Schuster Center, guest conductor Brent Havens and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra (DPO) honor The Rolling Stones with a 2021‒2022 Dayton Philharmonic Rockin’ Orchestra Series Concert called Windborne’s Music of The Rolling Stones: Mick Jagger & Keith Richards 1969. The DPO welcomes to the stage the guest band Windborne for this performance.

The Dayton Philharmonic and guest conductor Brent Havens perform Windborne’s The Music of The Rolling Stones: Mick Jagger and Keith Richards 1969, paying tribute to the World’s Greatest Rock ‘n Roll Band, with vocalist Mick Adams and the talented rock band Windborne together with the full orchestra on stage at the Schuster Center

The performance will feature tracks from two outstanding albums, Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed, including “Sympathy For the Devil,” “Street Fighting Man,” “Gimme Shelter,” and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” as well as other classic hits from their ABKCO years.

Leading Windborne and the Dayton Philharmonic will be Berklee-trained arranger and conductor Brent Havens. Havens has written music for orchestras, feature films, and virtually every kind of television. His TV work includes movies for networks such as ABC, CBS, and ABC Family, commercials, music for sports networks such as ESPN, and even cartoons. Havens has also worked with the Doobie Brothers and the Milwaukee Symphony, arranging and conducting the combined group for Harley Davidson’s 100th Anniversary Birthday Party Finale, attended by over 150,000 fans. He has worked with some of the world’s greatest orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic in London, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Houston Symphony, the Baltimore Symphony, the San Diego Symphony, and countless others. Havens recently completed the score for the film Quo Vadis, a Premier Pictures remake of the 1956 gladiator film. Havens has served as arranger and guest conductor for all 21 of Windborne’s symphonic rock programs, including The Music Of David Bowie, The Music Of Pink Floyd, The Music of Queen, and of course, The Music of The Rolling Stones.

Windborne will be fronted on stage by lead singer Mick Adams. The incredible range and power of the voice of Mick Adams speaks for itself. Not only is Adams a ringer for Mick Jagger, he brings Mick Jagger’s intense energy to each and every performance. Adams has toured the country, performing with the likes of Tommy James, The Turtles, The Monkees, The Association, The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Buckinghams, Herman’s Hermits, Ron Dante, the Rascals, and more. He has recorded with Mark Kendall of Great White as well as Ronnie James Dio’s guitarist, Tracy G, and he has done voice over work for MADDTV. He has also performed to help raise money for important causes, including on Betty White’s pet telethon and Jerry Lewis’ MS telethon. Mick originally hails from Columbus, Ohio.

No matter your age, you’ll feel the rush of a generation in rebellion and history in the making as the DPO and Windborne bring the music of The Rolling Stones to the Schuster Center stage!
