Cole Porter was known for his witty lyrics and jazzy melodies, and he is often considered the standard for theater and film scores around the world. He is the creative genius behind many of the hits that skyrocketed crooners like Frank Sinatra to the top of the charts. The Dayton Philharmonic is thrilled to present the music of Cole Porter as we commemorate this spectacular and prolific American composer.
