Dayton Ballet invites families of all ages to step inside the world of ballet and learn how simple shapes help make ballet steps that then become beautiful dances. Ballet dancers use only steps and shapes to express who they are. They do not speak, yet their movements tell stories overflowing with emotion. Join us in our first-ever virtual performance as professional dancers of Dayton Ballet demonstrate how they train and then perform sections from some of the most compelling story ballets of all time, including Sleeping Beauty: The Story of Briar Rose, Cinderella, and Tchaikovsky’s beloved The Nutcracker!
