Jennifer Northcut is celebrating her 32nd season as Second Flutist with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, where she is recognized as a dedicated and passionate orchestral musician. In addition to her performing career, she is a passionate educator who maintains a vibrant private flute studio of approximately 30 students in Mason, Ohio, where she mentors the next generation of musicians.
She earned her Master of Music in Performance from Arizona State University and was selected as a 1994 fellow at the prestigious Tanglewood Music Center. She further honed her craft at the National Orchestral Institute in Washington, D.C., in 1995 and 1996, performing and studying alongside some of the country’s most talented young artists. Jennifer resides in Mason, Ohio, with her husband, Timothy.
