Updated July 20 at 8:00AM – DPAA has regained access to its ticketing platform and sales have resumed.
Due to global tech outages, DPAA is temporarily unable to process ticket orders.
The outage has been attributed to a flawed CrowdStrike update that caused Microsoft-based servers to crash worldwide. It is not associated with any security breach or malware attack, and therefore, no personal data has been compromised.
CrowdStrike has issued a fix, which is a manual process that will take time to deploy. Nevertheless, given the severity of the issue and its global implications, we expect this to be remedied soon.
