Charles Pagnard is principal trumpet with the Dayton Philharmonic and the Carillon Brass. He has performed with the Bach Instrument Company and as an extra musician with the Cincinnati Symphony and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. Charlie is Professor of Music at Cedarville University, and he conducts the University Symphony Orchestra. Since 1988, he has led the 20-member Cedarville Brass Choir on extensive tours to Israel, Hungary, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Greece, and he has recorded with them as soloist and conductor.
Charlie holds a BME degree from Bowling Green State University and an MM degree from Eastman School of Music. He has also done post-graduate work at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. He is Minister for Music and Worship at Washington Heights Baptist Church in Kettering, Ohio, and a grandfather of triplets!
