Clara Passmore is a collaborative pianist in central North Carolina. She is a graduate of the Collaborative Piano program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she studied under Dr. Allison Gagnon. She received a Master of Music and a Professional Artist Certificate. Clara received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.
Clara’s most recent collaborative project was Apprentice Répétiteur at Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, where she performed Le nozze di Figaro. She has attended other summer programs including Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Collaborative Piano Institute and Opera Lucca. In 2024, Clara performed Dr. Miracle for the Undergraduate Opera Scenes at UNCSA and the opera scenes showcase at Music On Site, Inc. serving as one of the pianist-coaches.
In her spare time, Clara enjoys playing gospel hymn arrangements, and spending time with her husband James and dog Coal.
