Originally from Michigan, Isaac Jones studied under the direction of Cyndi Buczek and Sergey Rayevskiy. He has previously danced with Eugene Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, and has also been selected as a dancer for the National Choreographers Initiative. He has danced featured roles in works by Jiří Kylián, Brandon Ragland, Robert Curran, Adam Hougland, Gerald Arpino, Penny Saunders, Stephen Mills, Toni Pimble, Septime Webre, Mariana Oliveira, Amy Seiwert, Suzanne Haag, Ilya Kozadayev, Stephanie Martinez, and Karen Russo Burke. He has choreographed works on the Dayton Ballet, Dayton Dance Initiative, Dayton Ballet School Ensemble, Dayton Dance Conservatory Company, Eugene Ballet, and Sarasota Ballet Trainee Program. He also serves as Adjunct Professor of Dance for the University of Dayton. This is Isaac’s eighth season with Dayton Ballet.
