I was born on July 2, 1945, in Dnepropetrovsk, USSR. In 1963, I graduated from music school in Minsk, specializing in violin. In 1972, I graduated from the Conservatory in Leningrad, also specializing in violin. From 1969 to 1972, I played in the Leningrad Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra. From 1972 to 1989, I worked in Minsk as the principal second violinist of the symphony orchestra and as a soloist with the “Cantabile” ensemble. I emigrated to the USA in 1989. Since 1990, I have played with the Dayton Symphony Orchestra, and from 1990 to 2025, I played with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. I am married and have two daughters and three granddaughters.
