Scott Moore is a native of Greenville, SC, where he began his musical studies at age six, studying violin with Dianne Pinner. In 2007 he earned a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Bob Jones University, studying with Achim Gerber, and then graduated in 2009 with a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, studying with Piotr Milewski. When he’s not performing Scott is in demand as a piano technician, tuning and repairing pianos for hundreds of area musicians. An inveterate podcast and audiobook listener, he loves a good mystery, novel, or history book. Scott is also an avid home chef and enjoys sharing meals with friends. He and his wife Jessica raise three children and one tuxedo cat together in their 125-year-old farmhouse.
