Tarique Logan is from Richmond, Virginia and began his training at Richmond Ballet. He also had the pleasure of attending Appomattox Regional School for the Arts and Technology with a focus in dance for high school. After completing two years in the Trainee program at Richmond, he then moved to Louisville, Kentucky to join the Studio Company at Louisville Ballet. Under the direction of Robert Curran, Mikelle Bruzina and Christy Corbitt-Krieger, his technique and artistry grew tremendously. In his three years there, he was able to work with many talented choreographers such as Andi Schermoly, Ching Ching Wong, Adam Hougland and many more. While at Louisville Ballet, he had the pleasure of performing Soloist Gentleman in George Balanchine’s Scotch Symphony, Adam Hougland’s Cold Virtues, Alun Jones’ Giselle, Ching Ching Wong’s premiere of Grass is Green, and many more. This is his first season with Dayton Ballet and he is very excited to see what the season brings!
