Will Stevens is the 2nd Oboe of the Dayton Philharmonic and Oboe Instructor at Western Illinois University. He is also completing the post-residency phase of the Doctor of Musical Arts program at the Yale School of Music. Will has recently performed with ensembles including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, and Elgin Symphony Orchestra. An active chamber musician, he has been a fellow at the Bowdoin International Music Festival, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, and Kent Blossom Music Festival.
Will earned a master’s degree in oboe performance from the Yale School of Music, where he studied with Stephen Taylor, and a bachelor’s degree in oboe performance from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied with Jonathan Davis.
