The Tri-state College Vocal Competition (established in 1989 in Ohio) expanded to three states in 2006 by the Opera Guild of Dayton. Up to six finalists are selected, then the finalists will compete in-person before a panel of nationally known judges on Saturday, May 9 at Wright State University in the Creative Arts Center (3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy, Fairborn, OH). The deadline for applications is Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Applications and the $30 application fee must be received by Saturday, April 4, 2026. At the end of this application, you will be redirected to submit the application fee online, or you can mail a check made out to Dayton Performing Arts Alliance with the memo line saying ‘TSCVC – Applicant Name,’ to 126 N Main Street, Suite 210, Dayton, Ohio 45402.
